Principal Residency

Principal Residency Network (PRN) is working to create ethical and visionary school leaders for school communities that act through a vision of opportunity and social justice for ALL students.

The Principal Residency Network is an experientially based approach to the development of future school leaders. We believe that the best way to learn the roles and responsibilities of a principal is to work with an outstanding school leader day in day out for an entire year based upon state and national standards. This Mentor/Mentee relationship is powerful and develops the unique skills required to be a school leader. These skills are documented in a graduation portfolio and exhibition organized around the local and ELCC Standards. Participants may earn either a Master’s or CAGS Degree and will receive their K-12 New Hampshire Principal Certification or certification in their home state through one of our regional partners.
